- Unlike most insurance programs, we focus solely on behavioral health. We have designed insurance protection to cover both the everyday risks inherent in psychiatric practice, as well as the more unusual risks.
- Our underwriters, risk managers and claims examiners are all psychiatric professional liability insurance specialists and understand each of the specific risks you may face in your practice.
- Both claims-made and occurrence policies are available.*
- The Program’s policy includes coverage for forensic activities.
- Administrative and governmental billing defense coverage is provided at no additional cost.
- Premium discounts are available including up to 50% for part-time psychiatrists.
- Insurance coverage is portable (if you move your practice to another state, you can take your coverage with you).
